Today's naam

37/ 108राधा · Radha

Tap anywhere to chant

Jaap screen: 37 of 108 beads complete, naam राधा (Radha).
The problem

Your phone is quietly taking your time away from Bhagwan.

We pick up the phone “for one minute” and look up an hour later. The morning that was meant for prayer goes to reels and notifications.

4 hrs

on the phone each day, if you are like many of us

60 days

that adds up to every single year (4 × 365 = 1,460 hours)

Years

of your life, over a lifetime, spent scrolling

Simple arithmetic, not a study. Your own number may be higher or lower — iPhone Settings → Screen Time shows it. Even giving back 10 minutes a day to naam jaap is more than 60 hours of jaap in a year.

How it works

Three steps. Every morning.

Understandable in five seconds, peaceful for the whole day.

  1. Chant your naam

Tap the mala on screen, or simply chant aloud and let Voice Jaap count for you. Every bead is saved instantly.

  2. Your apps unlock

Instagram, YouTube and any other app you chose stay resting until your jaap is done. Then they open for the day.

  3. Your day starts with peace

Bhagwan's naam comes first, the feed comes later. Your streak grows quietly, one day at a time.

Features

Everything for daily sadhana. Nothing to distract.

🪷 Made for every bhakt

Chant the naam that is close to your heart.

Pick one when you start, change it any day. Each naam has its own greeting.

FAQ

Questions, answered simply.

Is my data private?
Yes. Naam Lock uses Apple's own Screen Time app picker. You choose apps inside Apple's screen, and the app only receives a private token, so it never sees which other apps you have. Your Screen Time data never leaves your phone. Voice Jaap listens on-device. We store only your account, jaap counts and preferences so they are safe if you change phones. We never sell data and there are no ads. Read the Privacy Policy.
Can I get stuck and not open my apps?
Never. There is always an Emergency unlock: a short 10-second pause asking if you are sure, then your apps open. You can also turn Naam Lock off at any time in the app or in iPhone Settings.
Will it work for my parents?
Yes, it was designed for them. Simple Mode shows one screen with very large text and big buttons, in Hindi or English. Anything they need every day is one tap away, and nothing important can be pressed by accident.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Naam Lock is iPhone only for now, because Naam Lock is built on Apple's Screen Time features.
Are festival dates accurate for my city?
Panchang timings such as sunrise, tithi, Rahu Kaal and Parana time are calculated for the city you choose, and you can pick Amanta or Purnimanta month style. Some festivals are observed on different days by different traditions and regions, so please follow your family's custom or local temple when they differ.
How do I cancel Pro?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Naam Lock → Cancel. If you cancel during the 7-day free trial, you are not charged. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with nothing to cancel.
Do I need the internet to chant?
No. Tap jaap and Voice Jaap work fully offline. Your counts sync to your account the next time you are online, so nothing is lost.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Account), or write to support@naamlock.app. Your profile and jaap history are deleted from our servers.

Still unsure? Visit Support or write to support@naamlock.app.

Tomorrow morning, chant first.

Start with 11 naam. The feed can wait. Bhagwan's naam can't.
